As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Investments.

What You Will Do

Investment Management:

  • Develop complex financial models for real estate projects, to evaluate feasibility and profitability.
  • Lead underwriting processes for real estate investment opportunities, overseeing due diligence and legal documentation.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for development projects and stabilized assets.
  • Collaborate on long-term investment strategies, engaging in market research and financing discussions.

Financing:

  • Evaluate various financing options to optimize returns.
  • Manage financing applications, negotiate terms with lenders, and ensure compliance.
  • Implement internal controls to uphold financing compliance standards.

Risk Management, Compliance, and Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports and investment updates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Implement risk management strategies and monitor property performance.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with investors, lenders, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in finance with a focus on real estate investment and development.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel, ARGUS, and other financial analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of real estate capital markets, investment structures, and financing options.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Experience:

  • Investment: 7 years (preferred)
  • Real estate: 5 years (preferred)
